The worst food and service I’ve had in the longest time!! A Caesar Wrap that in no way is as big as their ads or their sign (think ordering a triple whopper and being only given one burger patty kind of lie), it was incorrectly made, charged incorrectly (and illegally), and zero customer service skills for making it right from the guy in charge. I’ll never go there again!!!
I came here after seeing a bunch of clips on IG and looking through their Yelp reviews. They have a Chicken Caesar Wrap that looks HUGE on their site, and with everyone saying how big it was and delicious, I had to try it.
Drive down to the parking lot to eat there as it was a nice day. Tables had a film on them and the trash cans were overfilling with giant paper bags (more in this in a minute).
Went to the window to order, and their sign had a picture of the sandwich looking gigantic and priced at $15. I asked for one with light croutons and it came up on the register at $15.60 plus tax. Someone needs to tell them that charging more for an item than advertised/posted is illegal in Michigan and they’re supposed to fix it on site or pay an additional penalty if it is brought up after they leave. I brought up the price mismatch to the cashier (who looked like he was in charge?), and he just shrugged and rolled his eyes, changing the subject to ask if I wanted a spinach flavored wrap.
They give you a puck like hosts at restaurants do when there is a wait - but he made no mention or warning as to how long it would take. 20 MINUTES LATER he calls my name and hands me - a giantttt paper bag with one little folding cardboard togo box in it and a few napkins. Now the overfilled trash cans make sense, though the size of the bags (and the cost for them to buy them?!) does not.
I sit down to eat my wrap, opening the box to see a sandwich that’s about 1/3 of the size you will see online, on their sign, or on their social media. See attached picture, and note the 2oz ramekin (those are the small ones) of caesar dressing on the side for scale. Since the manager in register completely ignored my question in the price mismatch, I figured I was screwed over and went to just eat.
I bit it and… it tasted WRONG. Not funny or off.. but completely wrong. I ate a few more bites of the half and my mouth, thinking it was maybe the overwhelming amount or parmesan that no sandwich should ever have put on it… and it was actually burning a bit - yes, I said, “burning”.
I stopped at that point and took the attached picture, then went to the cashier to ask why the Chicken Caesar Wrap was spicy. He said it wasn’t supposed to be, as there is no hot sauce on the wrap.. it’s supposed to just be the dressing.
I told him it had to be made wrong then, and I opened the wrap to show him orange from the hot sauce all over the chicken. Either they cooked a spicy chicken fillet by mistake or put sauce actually on it. He stood there, said, “Sorry about that.” And looked at me with a blank face.
They did absolutely nothing to fix their mistake. I threw the rest out in their overflowing trash cans and went to McDonalds next door instead. Their food might not be great either, but at least I know what I’m getting and how much it will actually be.
I’ll never get Hot Chicks again.
