When I opened the box for the chicken quesadilla, the ends of the tortilla were cold and hard, like it was sitting out for a while. When I ordered the acai bowl, the customizations I made were sub strawberries for pineapple, so overall: pineapple, banana, and blueberries. However, when I opened the bowl, there were absolutely no bananas whatsoever and instead there were a ton of pineapple pieces. When I looked at my order, it confirmed that I put in the order correctly, it was just not made that way. I was pretty upset about this because I especially love the bananas mixed with the acai and I was ready to take a bite of deliciousness. Instead, what I got was acai soaked frozen pineapple and blueberry. The flavor wasn't horrible, but it was just not as good without the banana. My sister also ordered an acai bowl, hers with Nutella. When she got hers, she didn't see any Nutella. Confused, I told her to "dig around" because there is always globs of Nutella. She eventually realized that they put the Nutella on top of the acai which caused the entire thing to literally be frozen. So essentially her bowl was acai, Nutella and granola bark, that was EXTREMELY sweet, and then strawberries. Now usually people wouldn't be complaining about that, but for her it just wasn't good. It was better when the Nutella was on top of the fruit so you could actually taste it. Usually, I love tropical smoothie, but after this, maybe I should start looking into some new places.
