    Such a progressive business, one of the first tropical smoothie locations ran entirely by the special needs. Smoothies are chunky and gross, the manager requires reminders to inhale oxygen regularly, and orders are frequently incorrect. Great job Hailey!

    I went through the drive through all the girls were nice and it didn’t take long to get my smoothie but whoever is doing food needs to make sure you’re making time for drive through people. It’s 95 degrees out and I’ve been waiting almost 20mins for my food. Won’t be back to this one again. Unreal. The food better make up for it.

    I usually don’t leave reviews but the way I was treated today was completely unacceptable. I was treated differently by the staff than white customers, the workers had an attitude with me the whole time and spoke to me in a very condescending tone. The way the staff spoke to me was also filled with micro aggressions, which is not appreciated. I guess you need to be white to be treated nicely by staff, would not recommend coming to this location as a person of color. Staff was overall very rude and I should not be able to hear their private conversations from where I’m standing, just rude and loud. And I found hair in my chipotle chicken club as well, just an overall waste of $17 and I will not be back. Plus it’s always a long wait time for a flatbread and a smoothie, just overall unacceptable.

    I constantly visit Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Dixie Highway mainly because it’s the only one convenient to where I live, otherwise I would not. The last several times I have gone (In the restaurant and drive through) the staff do not offer a friendly voice, a smile, and do not even offer to say “Have a nice day” when I leave. To make matters worse, a staff member has literally lied to us about what was available to purchase!! I have dogs, and we loved to go here because of the option for healthy pup - cups (Plain yogurt and peanut butter), but after a recent problem with a staff member, we will not be going anymore. 2 days ago on 6/9/2026 at 8:00 pm, I stopped by in the drive through with my dog to purchase some food, and a pup-cup. I ordered my food, and ended with asking for a pup - cup, but when I asked I was given a strange answer from the employee. She told me that they do not have them anymore, even though I went the very night before and it was, in fact, an option. I stated my confusion and told her that we bought one the night before, but she continued on telling us that she couldn’t give one to me for free, even though I had not asked for a “free” pup - cup, and I was willing to pay for it. Since the employee clearly wasn’t understanding, and was still speaking to me in a very rude tone, I asked for 2 sides of peanut butter and plain yogurt, then finally did she say that it was possible. I still do not understand why the employee was being so condescending, and rude to me. She clearly did not know how to ring an order up properly in the register, and instead of trying to make the situation better, she lied. It was also disappointing to see that the only friendly employee who I have had a good experience with, was on dish duty. I will certainly not be going to this location again. Especially not to be lied to. It was very unprofessional.
