- AMAndrea MMay 20, 20265.0I went to Domino's looking to arrange in advance a large order for a kids' gathering as it was near to our location. I was greeted warmly by their friendly, competent staff. I had questions so the manager came over promptly and took excellent care of me. Within moments I had a plan for our event and left feeling confident and well-taken care of. It actually went better than I had expected. A few weeks later, on the day of our event, the manager communicated with me before noon to ensure everything would be exactly as I wanted it. Perfect so far! And here's where things hit a snag, but I don't even care. It was a stormy day, and I had a crew of hungry teenagers starting to get antsy. I got a call from the manager: they had lost power at their location as they were making our order. But the manager didn't miss a beat; he arranged for my order to be ready at the next closest location and it would still be ready on time. Wow! I picked up that stack of pizzas at the new location and they were so hot I almost got steam burns from the box vents! It turned out the District Manager was at the backup location that day and was working the counter when I got there. I had no idea she was management; she was working her tail off. She greeted me, guessed which order was mine, offered me extras of anything I might need and was just generally amazing. I'm afraid I've forgotten her name, but the manager at the first location that kept it together in a crisis was Mort. So the final detail- those kids descended on the pizzas like a pack of wild dogs. It was so good! I'm told the veggie pizza had a bit of a kick to it but was very good. Everything else was decimated. And while teens aren't big on details, their action spoke pretty loudly. So to sum up, the place was clean, the people were super friendly, they took great care of me and the food was very tasty. I hadn't eaten at Domino's in years, but we will definitely be back!
