  We finally got around to trying Kolachi Kitchen, and we were not disappointed. Garlic naan was perfection. Potato samosas were fresh, hot, and flavorful. The portions are pretty good for the price and everything tasted fresh. I had the chicken biryani. Chicken was cooked well, moist, and the spices were on point. Some of the better chicken biryani I've had in recent memory. Rice was excellent and full of vegetables and flavor. We also had the butter chicken. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to butter chicken, but I will definitely be returning to Kolachi Kitchen for this. Service was attentive and very friendly. Can't ask for more there. Ambience was nice enough - my only note would be to play some music. Otherwise, the dining room was clean and comfortable. Looking forward to going back!

  Warm atmosphere with friendly service. Very clean space. Reasonable prices. Excellent, authentic food. We are from Karachi and this really helped with the homesickness. We had the halwa puri breakfast, and each of the bhajis was seasoned and cooked perfectly, great halwa, and bubbly puris with perfectly crispy edges. Nihari was very well done, tasted like excellent, slow cooked beef with a perfectly seasoned shorba. The serving was enough to feed four people. The aloo bun kebab also tasted great. Perfectly grilled bun with a tangy chutney to compliment the potato patty. Tasted almost the same as the one I would get from school in Karachi. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back!

  While traveling to Chicago from Mississauga, ON, my family and I decided to make a stop at this restaurant, and we were so glad we did! The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. The owner and his wife were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and warm-hearted. I first visited this place in 2023, and this was my second visit. I’m happy to say that the service and hospitality are still just as wonderful as they were the first time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent hospitality. If you’re in the area, you should definitely give it a try! ❤️

  Had a wonderful experience at Kollachi Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. The owner was incredibly welcoming and personally came to our table to ask for feedback about the food. He also offered us Highway Karahi to taste, and it was amazing! The hospitality really made the experience even more special. Absolutely loved the food and the service. A must-visit if you’re looking to enjoy authentic Pakistani food! 🇵🇰❤️ Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!

  I have been a regular customer at Kolachi but recently they have been lacking. Last two times I had to wait for the food for one hour because once they forgot to make my food and second time they kept saying “5 mins” just to hand the food one hour later than agreed upon. Last weekend I placed a catering order for one full tray chicken highway karahi and half tray malai boti. I told the lady on the phone that I want it mild spice but the malai boti was still spicy. And this is how I received the karahi I ordered. Picture attached. The gravy and oil was so dark. The chicken was supposed to be with bone. But they gave me small boneless chicken with some weird gravy. Safe to say if was not highway karahi. It tasted so bad we had to throw it away later when none of the guest touched it. It looked disgusting. Waste of $160. I am most likely never buying anything from them again.
