- CDCory DemsterSep 19, 20261.0I ordered online yesterday and showed up on time for pickup. The store was absolute chaos. The manager was non-stop yelling at customers and staff. The manager shooed customers away walking in and encouraged them to eat elsewhere. The manager also made a store wide announcement to the customers telling EVERYONE to call customer the next day for their money back. I also witnessed the manager throw away order receipts to lower the volume. The manager would read the order out loud and say something like this, “oh I know he isn’t here anymore.” I then witnessed that manager throw away multiple order tickets. We had already paid for our food. One of the orders she read off sounded like mine. I waited for over an hour and I never got my food. The unprofessionalism was at a degree I have rarely seen. And on top of everything else, the manager did very little to assist her staff, she bashed corporate and the app, then she just up and left. The last 15-20 minutes I waited, I didn’t even see her. This was from 6:20pm to 7:20pm.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
