Absolutely ridiculous experience from start to finish. Me and two friends got to Topgolf around 7 PM and were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. Somehow that “15-minute wait” turned into us not getting a bay until around 8:15 PM.
Around 8:30, we ordered food, and almost immediately employees started coming over every five minutes telling us we had to leave at 9 PM unless someone in our group was 21+. I pulled up Topgolf’s own website, which clearly says that if everyone is 18 or older, we can stay past 9.
The first employee could not have cared less. I showed her the policy and instead of actually reading it or admitting they might be wrong, she said she was getting a manager.
Then they sent over a second guy who came over acting like I was the confused one. Sir, no. You guys were confused. I’m a law student—I know how to read a written rule, and I literally had YOUR company’s policy pulled up in front of me. I completely punked him out using their own policy to the point where he had basically nothing left to say. It was honestly embarrassing watching him try to argue something that was written right there in black and white.
After he got humiliated by his own company policy, they brought over another employee whose customer service had all the warmth of a telemarketer trying to get you off the phone. He finally said that if we could all provide valid ID proving we were 18, then it was “fine” for us to stay.
No sir. It wasn’t suddenly “fine.” It was literally the rule the entire time.
My friend and I handed over our driver’s licenses, and somehow the employee checking them couldn’t even do the basic math to determine whether we were 18. You’re the one demanding IDs and you can’t calculate someone’s age?
Our third friend is visibly older than both of us and is in fact older, but he wasn’t carrying his physical ID because his license was suspended. I offered to show them a clear photo of his license and even his passport as proof of his age. They refused to accept anything unless he magically produced the physical ID he didn’t have with him.
At that point it felt less like they were enforcing a rule and more like they were just searching for any possible excuse to get us out.
Then came the final boss after apparently nobody else could handle the conversation. As a law student, I again explained exactly what their own written policy said and pointed out how ridiculous the entire situation was. I basically mopped the floor with every argument they gave me until eventually this guy stopped even trying to explain himself and just planted himself there saying he “wasn’t budging.”
Great customer service strategy: when you can’t defend your position anymore, just stand there until the customer leaves.
The best part? Because THEIR 15-minute wait became over an hour, we barely even got to play. We didn’t get through one full round. Our food had literally just come out and they were pressuring us to leave before we could even finish eating it—and yes, they still made us pay for everything.
So in summary: waited over an hour after being told 15 minutes, barely got to play, ordered food we weren’t even given time to finish, had multiple employees argue with us about a rule that contradicted their own website, and somehow WE were treated like the problem.
I don’t know whether they had another reservation they wanted our bay for, whether there was some bias because we’re Middle Eastern, or whether the employees simply don’t know their own company policies. I’m not going to pretend I know their motive. What I do know is that the entire interaction felt like they wanted us gone and kept moving the goalposts every time I proved their previous argument wrong.
Topgolf permanently lost my business after this. I will never bring anyone here and I’ll actively tell people about how we were treated. If you’re going to aggressively enforce rules against paying customers, maybe learn your own rules first.

⭐ 1/5 — Terrible Experience
We specifically asked NOT to be on the bottom floor. The employee said placement was “random” and reservations were no longer available. After waiting TWO HOURS, suddenly everything else was “reserved,” and she put us on the bottom floor all the way in the corner.
Her attitude was rude and dismissive, and the whole thing honestly felt intentional. Two hours completely wasted. Absolutely terrible customer service.

I have been to “top golf” on multiple occasions, and honestly I don’t think I’ll be returning any time soon. It doesn’t matter if I “walk in” or create an online reservation, every single time we’ve gone we get stuck on the BOTTOM FLOOR and there’s nothing anyone can do to rearrange a different floor.
It’s called TOP GOLF, yet I’ve NEVER been able to get above ground level.
Definitely not the experience that you’re hoping for.

We love Top Golf! However today’s experience was not the best. Arrived to a dirty table (prob not the servers fault) however it only got worse- Food was not great. In fact none of our party finished their food (not that we were asked for boxes to at least take the queso home)… service was the worst by far I’ve ever experienced at a Top Golf. We spent two hours here and not once offered drink refills- we ordered on the app as we were asked to. I ordered a beer and 45min later it arrived warm (we asked the server to cancel the beer after 25min). He said it doesn’t show him on his hand held when we order alcohol- then why are we asked to order all our things on the app if you don’t have a system in place to get the guest their drinks? The bartender brought it after it sat there for over 30 plus minutes. We seen our server a total of 4 times- that is with a greeting and a request for payment. So it was very difficult to communicate our needs. If you are going to ask guest to order off a QR code or app, work out the kinks first. A paging system for the guest on the app or on their table would be ideal. I couldn’t pay my check on my app. Very very frustrating. My children has a blast playing golf but the whole
Ordeal made me not want to return to this particular location.
