  Great experience as always! When I came into town to visit, I took my nephew to Legoland at the mall. On our way through, we passed the alligator outside and of course he immediately insisted we had to go into Rainforest Cafe. Much to my surprise, our favorite waitress Madeline was back! She remembered us and, just like always, provided amazing service. The food was great, and my nephew was completely enamored with all of the decor and atmosphere. It made the experience even more special seeing him take it all in. Thanks Madeline for another great visit — we’ll definitely be back!

  Party of 10 (including kids). Our first table was right by the restroom and every time someone opened the door a strong, unpleasant odor came out, so we asked to be moved, which was necessary. When the food arrived, one child’s burger had a hair in it; the server replaced it promptly, which we appreciated. I ordered the Jamaican pepper steak and found it mediocre (3/5), so I swapped it for the Island NY and shrimp. Overall the food quality seemed worse than when we visited a year ago. Hope they address the restroom odor and improve food consistency next time.

  Went out on a date with my girlfriend not looking to spend a crazy amount for bad food. We loved the inside and looked over the food which sounded good in theory. I got steak, shrimp and rice something they had on the front. After looking over the menu all the steaks were below 40$ of then one everyone else was around 30. So I looked over the the menu and they the option i choose with no price on it. I assumed for steak and shrimp it would be 35$. We ended one getting our mind you I asked for a medium rare. I don't know about yall or especially a restaurant if a medium is is not supposed to not have no pink in it but it didn't. After waiting for like 20 sum minutes the waiter came back and she took it back . The steak was well done btw and she back and said to me the chef checked and said it wasn't medium rare. I was like yeah it was well done. Listen I don't need it to be perfect but not but a min away from burnt. She came back and asked me if it's right it was just slightly less cooked at that point I choose to deal with it but after eating it tasted horrible. And they covered my rice and shrimp in sauce they didnt do with the first one and I was just ready to leave. She brought the bill and it a damn 45 for just that meal I was so shocked I rechecked the menu. They didnt have a single price or anything above 40 everything unless like it was 30-35. They had no actual price for the meal. I asked and she got the manger and I told him everything about what has been going on with my meal and how the only steak near that price was 40$. He then just said yeah that's the real price and said ok I will knock 5$ and walked away. He barely listened to me and talked to me. So I just pay for the bad food and left. All I am saying it was a cool place to see but they didnt care at all everyone was rude from the second you asked for a seat. The food wasn't good, over price and the worst of choose what they will charge you for something they won't cook right or actually have the price on the menu. If your going to see a cool place that's all it's good for.

  Made a 5:45pm reservation for my granddaughters birthday. Checked in about 20 minutes early - wasn't expected to be seated early, we were a party of 7. We weren't seated until 6:05. I'm the meantime they were taking large groups of walkins. Once seated, we noticed good on some of our chairs. We couldn't get anyone's attention so we just switched chairs from another table. About 20 minutes later someone finally cave over to take our drink order. Then it took another 25-30 minutes for them to come back and take our food order. After placing our food order, it took over an hour to get our food. I'm the meantime we were checked on one time. We also noticed tables of 3-4 being seated, waited on and checked out while we were waiting on our food. When we finally recieved our food we had to wait about 10 minutes to catch the eye of our waitress when we realized we didn't have any silverware or napkins. She then proceeded to dump all of the silverware and napkins into a big pile on the table. Over half of our meals were cold, over cooked (tasted like it had been reheated) and one sandwich was soggy from sitting in its own sauce. The birthday girls pizza was very chewy. I would not recommend this place to a party over 4 people. They did remove one of our meals from the bill. My granddaughter enjoyed the atmosphere but didn't even want to wait for her birthday cake and did she didn't want to eat there again. That's from an 11 year old. 🙄

  My family and I were very disappointed with our recent visit to Rainforest Cafe. We had a 5:45 PM reservation for a party of seven but weren’t seated until 6:05. Once seated, we noticed the table hadn’t been properly cleaned—there was salsa on a couple of the chairs. After not being able to get anyone’s attention to clean them, we switched chairs from another table ourselves. Service was very slow. We waited about 20 minutes for drink orders to be taken and another 20–30 minutes before our food order was taken. During that time, smaller tables seated after us were served before we were. When the food finally arrived—over an hour after our order was taken—the majority of the meals were cold. At that point, we also realized we didn’t have silverware or napkins. It took an additional 10 minutes to get our server’s attention, and when they were brought, they were simply dumped on the table in a pile. The food quality did not match the prices. Some items tasted reheated, the fish was overly oily, the pasta was dry with very little sauce, and the sandwich had been sitting in its sauce, leaving the bun soggy. The birthday girl’s pizza was very chewy. This visit was meant to celebrate my granddaughter’s 11th birthday. She was very excited to come, but the experience left her so disappointed that she didn’t even want to stay for her birthday celebration and said she never wants to come back. After talking to the manager, and he gave every excuse in the book for the poor service, one meal was removed from the bill. The overall experience did not reflect the cost or expectations of dining here. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this location.
