  This used to be my go-to store. They always had some of the best food options and fresh produce. After COVID, I started using their Hannaford To Go service, and at first, I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. It was incredibly convenient and saved me so much time. However, after about a year, I started noticing small but frustrating changes in their service. Items would be missing from my order, yet I was still charged for them. Sometimes entire bags were left out, forcing me to drive back to the store to pick them up. Most disappointing of all, over the last six months, I’ve been given expired food items like bakery products, bread, and other perishables. The convenience that once made this service so great has slowly turned into frustration and inconvenience. It’s disappointing because this store was always my first choice. I think it may be time to stop relying on the convenience service and go back to doing my own shopping. Unfortunately, I guess all good things do come to an end.

  This Hannaford store is one of the easiest to shop at, if you're in the York vicinity, or even driving through it on your way north. First, it's easy to get in and out of the parking area, as it's accessed via a short driveway that has a traffic light. Then, the parking lot is nicely designed, so - unless it's a hectic time of day - you'll find parking that's comfortably near the door. The store is mostly well-organized. The front of the store can feel a bit cluttered with sale bins, but - in general - they're easy to navigate if you've shopped there before and know the store's layout. Their health section (vitamins as well as medications) section is impressive... taller than in many stores, so you can stand in one spot and scan all the products relatively easily. The staff have always been friendly and fun when we've been there. That's a plus when asking for help to find a product, but especially at the checkout... which has a nice, large self-checkout area, if you prefer that. While other Hannaford stores may be more convenient when we're in the area, this is one we prefer.
