- LSLogan Stout6 days ago4.0The food is an exemplary rendition of classic American diner food, the unlimited free toppings and extremely generous portions on fries particularly the large. My only complaint is that the fries are often too soft, they're still good and some of that is the style of the fries I believe, but they were still softer than I think they intended to be but I'll make plenty of allowances for quick service on 4th of July. The staff were friendly and prompt, and despite no doubt being very busy they seemed calm and organized which made me feel much more comfortable. For atmosphere I only gave 3 stars because while the seating and tables are fine and I've eaten in store many times, it's also not really noteworthy beyond the novelty which for first time visitors especially those who've never experienced a diner before, is pretty good, it's not overwhelming in it's use of the diner theme as some theme restaurants can feel like. It's tastefully done with sacks of potatoes and some other ingredients with an open and warm dining space. My mother and I order here at least once a month if not several times more.
