I placed a delivery order in the morning about 9 am for delivery after 2 pm. Everything was supposedly in stock. By 10:30 am I received a text saying over half of the items I ordered were out of stock. I attempted to cancel the order by calling the store directly. The woman I spoke with told me I would need to contact Door Dash to cancel the order...What? I have no customer relationship to Door Dash. If Shaw's contracts with Door Dash for their deliveries then it's on them to cancel deliveries on behalf of their Shaw's customers. Furthermore, the few items that were available for the order were still at the store at the time of my call (roughly 11 am) and the delivery was not scheduled to happen until 2 pm. Door Dash hadn't even entered the equation, yet. When I tried to explain this to the Shaw's associate all I got was "I understand your frustration" Really? I don't think you do because if you did you would understand how ridiculous it is to expect me to contact Door Dash for a delivery they didn't even have, yet. I will never place another delivery order with Shaw's.

I asked the lady and she said no chicken today and maybe they will have some after 1:00. I find it unacceptable and lost my Business, return my items from the cart and left.
