  For the love of all that is holy, could we stop cutting every pork butt you have in-house in half. And maybe just maybe send your produce team to the Scarborough location near Sam's club so they can understand how to stock herbs without mutilating them. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the staff at this location is generally nice Update: you didn't provide a better experience. The meat department fails again. Didn't bother even checking the produce section because I've begun shopping elsewhere for that already. Not only are the pork butts cut in thirds but they look like crap and are completely mangled. Happy to take my business to Shaw's.

  I'm very disappointed in Hannaford. I have been shopping here my entire adult life. I was just told by an employee, that once the treasury takes the pennies out of the system, they're gonna start rounding up. That means let's say your grocery bill is 25.72. That means that the total will be 25.75 instead. Now that doesn't seem like much and it's not. But that's just bad business. I work in a retail store where we are already starting this. We round down so that three cents is in the customer's pocket. Any store that's gonna round up that's wrong! And in my opinion I'll go as far as saying it's a total scam. I get that maybe you feel like I was a business or losing money. But you're really not. And when I was talking to the employee about it she was very smug. Very very rude. Her response was, "oh well not my problem." I get that she's just a cashier or maybe a supervisor and doesn't make the rules. Corporate does all that. But there was no need for any of that whole interaction at all. This same employee was also very rude to me because she told me that the self checkout I was at wasn't cash only. I had asked her if it was. There was no sign that said no cash. Like the other couple of self checkouts were. She's said, "it's right there in front of you on the floor." But was very condescending when she said it I was like oh excuse me then sorry. And then she came back and said sorry in a nasty tone. I didn't appreciate that. I've been a customer of this place for over 30 years. I probably won't come back here. I hate Walmart but I'd rather go there if I'm gonna be treated like this by Hannaford the boy. When I never have been.
