- JRJamie RobbinsMar 22, 20261.0I’ve been going to this Dunkin’ in Rockland for over 40 years, and apparently I just learned something new: ordering one extra coffee after placing your order in an empty drive-thru is now against “policy.” The other day I ordered a coffee, and my passenger decided they’d like a medium coffee too. There was no one behind me. I politely asked if I could add it on, and the very young employee told me that once you order, that’s it—no changes allowed. No exceptions. Even for… another coffee. I completely understand having procedures, but when there’s no line and the request takes about three extra seconds, it feels less like customer service and more like customer training camp. After 40+ years of being a loyal customer, I didn’t realize flexibility had been removed from the menu along with the extra coffee. Good to know aroma Joe’s is just up the road—I can gladly stop there next time instead. 👍☕
