- ESEdward SimpsonApr 5, 20262.0I have no issue with the employees or service at Papa Johns. However, I feel that the quality of the pizza has diminished greatly within the last 5 -6 years. I'm not foolish enough to believe that I will get gourmet pizza from Papa John's but I purchased a BBQ chicken pizza with bacon and sliced onions that was greatly lacking in chicken and bacon. Its a national brand that is struggling and it shows in the product. The store is open until 2AM if you're up late and really hungry otherwise there are other pizza shops in Portland during normal business hours.
