Not sure how well your running a company but dont have $600 in funds to cash my paycheck. Seems more like she didn't wanna walk outback and get a loan. Just laziness.

Shaw's has now decided that a delivery fee isn't enough money for them. They've "revamped" their premium so it gives you free delivery, but forces you to pay the minimum $30 order amount, despite paying for premium which should cover those costs.
Awful, greedy decision that disproportionately affects the poor who can't afford a $30 minimum and who can't drive if they just want toilet paper, or another household item. Used to absolutely adore shaws and talk it up to whoever I could.
So massively disappointed in this greed, it's not even funny.
I am annoyed by two things today about Shaws. First, I went into the store with a weak signal on my phone, picked up grapes that were a dollar and a half off, brought them to the counter, and my phone’s battery died. Clerk refused me the discount.
Went to the service desk where the clerk told me the same thing.
Shaws, what EXACTLY do you get out of this practice???
Second, I go to the website to give my two cents worth. And the website HAS NO WAY FOR PEOPLE TO TALK TO MANAGEMENT!!
Who gave you lessons in customer relations?
I did not really want to talk to management and, at the same time, talk to anyone else who might be reading.
But I have no choice.
Management, please take a refresher course in customer relations.

I just moved to Lewiston last week, and tonight was my first real grocery-shopping trip since moving in. After working roughly a 13½-hour day—and regularly working 12–16 hours—I finally decided it was time to fill the house with food and get ready to meal prep this weekend.
Shaw’s is the closest grocery store to my new place, so I stopped in, and I was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked through the door.
The store was extremely clean, organized, and well stocked. The meat and produce looked fresh, everything was neatly arranged, and something else really stood out: nearly every employee I passed smiled, acknowledged me, or said hello. That may sound like a small thing, but these days it is surprisingly rare, and it says a lot about the atmosphere of a store.
Then came checkout.
After a 13½-hour workday, the last thing I wanted to do was stand at a self-checkout machine trying to figure out how to look up a pineapple. Not because I can't figure it out—my brain was simply DONE for the day.
Register 4 was open with a small line, so I got in line and waited. A moment later, a young lady named Kaitlin—I believe with a K—caught my attention, waved me over, and pointed me toward register 6.
That simple gesture turned into the best part of my shopping trip.
Kaitlin was genuinely warm, friendly, funny, and personable. She laughed at my terrible dad jokes, sympathized with how tired I was, and completely played along when I told her she could basically throw everything into the bags except the eggs and tomatoes.
She said, "Deal."
Then I joked that she could probably throw those in too since they were going to get chopped and squashed up for meal prep anyway.
Without missing a beat, she joked that she'd just "pre-prep" them for me.
It was a small interaction, but it felt genuine. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel like people are simply trying to finish their shift and collect a paycheck, Kaitlin made a tired customer feel welcome and actually made the end of a very long workday better.
People are usually quick to complain when someone does something wrong, so I think it's equally important to recognize someone when they do something right.
Special shout-out and thank you to Kaitlin at the Lewiston Shaw’s. You gave me a highlight at the end of a very long day and turned an ordinary grocery run into a genuinely enjoyable experience.
I’ll absolutely be back. I think I just found my permanent grocery store in Lewiston.
