  What a fun spot! So nice sitting outside in this prime prime location, with views of the harbor. The fish and chips was all-star. The fish was just so incredibly fresh. Great service and selection of beers

  Beautiful spot for a lunch! We got the Charcuterie Board to start. It was okay, it had an abundance of cheese but unfortunately everything else that was included was lacking. For our main course we ordered a Lobster Roll and two Chicken Sandwiches both very fresh and tasty! The desserts were amazing, the star of the show! The coconut cheesecake was so flavorful and the brownie was equally as delicious. Will definitely be visiting again when I come to Maine next time!

  Food was good, oysters were nice and fresh, they had 6 varieties on the menu, they were all excellent. Poke bowls had a good amount of fish. My kids wished that the wasabi peas were on the side as they were on the hard side so they picked them out. Beef satay was kinda tough and chewy, flavor was ok. Make sure you park here when you eat, its only $5.

  We ended up at The Boathouse for dinner after our small wedding ceremony, and I am so glad we did! We didn’t have a reservation and initially weren’t sure we were going to be able to get in, but somehow my cousin’s wife worked her magic and made it happen. 😂 What really made the night special, though, was our server, Ivy. She was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Once she found out we had just gotten married, she went above and beyond to make the evening feel like a celebration. She was warm, attentive, fun, and genuinely seemed excited to be a part of such a special night for our family. We had kept our wedding very small and intimate, so this dinner was essentially our little wedding celebration with our family. Ivy helped make it even more memorable than we could have expected. The food, atmosphere, and location were wonderful, but the service is what we’ll remember most. Thank you, Ivy, for being part of such an important night for us and for making our first dinner as husband and wife so special. ❤️ We will absolutely be back!

  We stopped into the Boathouse restaurant for food while on a daytrip to Kennebunkport. Loved the location being so close to all the shops! I was looking online for the best lobster roll in the area and so glad we stumbled upon this option. The wait was under 10 minutes, we were able to sit outside, and the server was kind and attentive! We ordered the chicken wings and a hot lobster roll. Both were executed well! The fries were perfectly crispy and light, the lobster roll was well cooked and buttery! As far as lobster roll size, it wasn’t the biggest I’ve seen, but it was a fair portion for one person. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting and not wanting to wait in line for the Clam Shack!
