  We dined at The Boathouse on 5/15/26 to celebrate two May birthdays. Our experience from start to finish was delightful, but Dawnette made it a true celebration. From the start she was helpful with menu suggestions while entertaining us with her quick wit and great sense of humor. We enjoyed delicious food and beverages along with many laughs. It was a memorable evening.

  Dinner with our family was outstanding. I had the lobster roll and it was delicious. My son had shrimp and scallops and he said they were outstanding. I would go back to the boathouse and I would recommend it to friends. The view is lovely and the service was good.

  If you’re visiting Kennebunkport, The Boathouse is an absolute must-stop! The staff is genuinely warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The food and drinks are exquisite—everything we tried was outstanding. Be sure to order the noodle beef salad; it’s a standout dish! We loved it so much that we came back for a second day in a row. Special shout-out to Colm, Beth, and Tommy (our bartender yesterday) — they all took fantastic care of us and made the experience even better. Whether you’re soaking in the beautiful scenery or just exploring the area, do yourself a favor and stop in at The Boathouse. You’ll have a fantastic time!

  It was the most watered down fountain coke I had my entire life and it tasted like nothing but gross tap water. I complained about the drink and sent it back without a second sip yet still got charged for it. It’s a pity considering how overpriced it was too. I do not recommend.

  I went to The Boathouse on Saturday night with a group of 9 girls on a bachelorette trip to Kennebunkport. It was by far the best dinner of the trip! They don’t take reservations, so we called ahead and they encouraged us to come on the earlier side. We arrived at 5:45 and were seated right away— originally they crammed us around two tables, but our server, Alrick, added another table to accommodate us. Alrick was just the server you want on a night out- charming, kind, and knowledgeable. He was an absolute delight! He even brought us out prosecco to do a cheers to the bride. All of his suggestions were phenomenal, I mean truly delicious. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Kennebunkport you must visit The Boathouse and request Alrick!
