  I was so excited to try Ocean! The views were outstanding and so were the drinks. The service was great. I can honestly say I was not impressed with the food, very little portions for a very high price. As I know what a corse dinner consists of. The lobster was very chewy, and the tuna to watermelon ration for the appetizer was not great. The octopus was good!

  Our dinner table had magnificent views of the ocean. Cocktails on the porch are recommended, not just for the views and ambiance, but also the craft made and delicious cocktails. Service and food were excellent and served in a clean, comfortable and renovated environment in an historic inn. A wonderful time was had by all in our party of 5. Thank you!

  Prix fixe menu with multiple choices for 3, 4 or 5 courses. Food was delicious and view is breathtaking.

  I have mixed feedback for this place. For positives: the location, the setting, and the ocean views were amazing. The place has the right vibe and atmosphere for special occasions. Servers were super friendly and the service overall was amazing. Now negatives: for an expensive place this like, the food was just “very average”. Portion sizes were overly tiny. Our main course Lamb chops were tasteless and seemed like were simply boiled with no char or grill marks on them. No bread was served or even asked for. Lastly it was 55 degrees outside and they had the AC full blast on. It was freezing and uncomfortable inside and they wouldn’t turn it down even after requesting them multiple times. The waiter was nice enough though to go find a blanket for my wife. So here we are dressed up for a fine dining place and sitting with blankets and mediocre food! For a $400 meal for two persons, you would expect a much better experience than this.

  Five Stars: An Absolute Culinary Highlight! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Ocean! From start to finish, the 3-course meal was flawless. Every single dish was a perfect balance of unique, savory flavors, and the presentations were stunning—true works of art on the plate. The tuna crudo, green salad, and the halibut were absolute standouts of the evening. The cocktails were equally impressive—creative and beautifully crafted—with the blueberry martini being a major highlight. The combination of incredible food, fantastic drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. If you are in Kennebunkport, Ocean is a must-visit! We can’t wait to come back.
