  Simply the best. My wife and I stopped in during our Maine vacation and were blown away with the food. Highly recommend the Japanese Wagyu entree

  Fantastic food, drinks, service and atmosphere. We both did the 4 course tasting menu and everything was delicious. The dessert doughnut was one of the best we’ve ever had. The whole menu looked incredible, definitely need to come back!

  Highly recommend! Already made another reservation 🤭 Food was absolutely delicious and there was an excellent variety to choose from every course. Aidian went above and beyond with his service. It was my sisters birthday and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the small steps they took to make sure she felt special. Even when we were taking photos out back after our meal he brought us each a glass of champagne..how lovely 🥹

  From the moment we pulled up to the Valet I knew this was the experience we were looking for, opened the door for my date and as my date and I were talking to the hostess I realized I left my phone in the car. I looked at my date and said I’m focused on you and this long sought after hidden gem restaurant (referred by a 2 Star Michelin chef) no sooner did I look up the Valet was opening the door with my phone. So great experience before even entering this absolutely beautiful restaurant with ambience like no other. We ordered the 4 course meal and loved the set price menu over a prefixed menu. Course 1 5 out of 5 -Potato Leek soup -Tuna Sashimi Course 2 5 out of 5 -Lobster Fettuccine -Cavatelli Course 3 10 out of 5 -Scallops -NY Strip Course 4 10 out of 5 -Homade donuts with Vanilla Ice cream -Cheesecake with Blueberry Compote Our server was second to none Accommodating when my date wanted a cucumber martini, not on the menu but said we have cucumbers we will make it. The culinary experience here was absolutely amazing and I’ve eaten it. Several Michelin star restaurants throughout the country. It wasn’t just about the food, though the Staff from the hostess and Valet Right to the Chef himself that gave us a complementary – was probably the second best culinary experience I’ve ever been a part of we will definitely be back. Kudos to everybody at hidden earth.

  Update to original review: Updating my review from 1 to 5 Stars as Earth at Hidden Pond is truly a 5 star restaurant! I contacted Melissa directly at the email she provided in her response to my review. She determined why my emails were not answered and also took care of making an adjustment to our bill. We recently visited Earth at Hidden Pond during a trip celebrating my daughter’s upcoming wedding. We travel to southern Maine several times a year, but this was our first experience dining at the restaurant. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent and absolutely lived up to the restaurant’s reputation. Unfortunately, the experience became disappointing after we returned home and reviewed our bill more carefully while splitting the trip expenses. We realized we had been charged for the four-course meal instead of the three-course meal we actually ordered. While we regret not catching the error at the restaurant, what has been most frustrating is the complete lack of response afterward. I have left a voicemail (because you can't actually talk to someone when you call) and sent three emails, including all relevant details such as the date and check number, and have not received any acknowledgment or follow-up from management. We understand that billing mistakes can happen and would have appreciated a simple response and effort to address the issue. Instead, the complete absence of communication from management has left us extremely disappointed and has significantly diminished what otherwise would have been a great dining experience. We expected better than this from a restaurant of this caliber.
