  While checking myself out at the self check out with 150$ in groceries my 3 year old daughter was excited to scan her pack of donuts and did so first. Then she chose to hold them and then place them into our bag as I scanned. Your AI agent deemed it necessary to pause my transaction because of this and make me wait for a understaffed front end employee to help me. You've replaced a simple activity that children grew up on looking forward to going to boop something at the store and ruined it by removing an ounce of compassion or joy via costumer service at the front end. The machine presumed her guilty before processing anything else. Like oh. That item clearly corrolates to the first item scanned In this order. You're a fraud of a company and a shell of the store we used to enjoy having in our town. Hire people and place some trust. I'm done spending money with you.

  Self service had a long line so I got behind another customer who was already checking out. Suddenly a Cashier from an adjoining line ( an older guy, very big and very unfriendly) grabbed a sign that said the check out was closed. He said “can’t you see the overhead light “ which was not turned on. I was shocked, an opposite experience from what I get at Trader Joe’s

  The store is hugely under supplied in comparison to the Riverside store. Case in point Hannaford boneless chicken thighs are out with the only option to purchase Nature's Promise at twice the price. This must be intentionally done otherwise the supply of Nature's Promise would be less and the supply of Hannaford boneless chicken thighs would be higher. There are many other items that are out of supply yet Riverside is stocked. I am not sure if it is lack of leadership or incompetence. I am doing more and more shopping at Market Basket with better pricing, better supply and much better variety. We do have a choice and mine is to go elsewhere until they can get there house in order.
