I generally go to Dunkin in Wiscasset, but I’ve visited the Damariscotta store 4 times in the last couple of months. Here’s what I’ve seen every single time: lines at the drive thru stretching to the street; 3-4 people working inside, catering mostly to drive thru customers; I’ll stand in the lobby for 10-15 minutes before one person acknowledges that I’m even there. Yesterday I went there for four pounds of coffee beans and I left with none because I’m done with this location. If I owned this place, I’d dial in once in a while and find out what’s going on here.

The drink was made incorrectly and the woman at the drive thru window was incredibly rude. She was annoyed it was wrong and gave serious attitude. Terrible customer service. There was no listening or kindness involved. She forgot to give us a soda we asked for and my mom specifically said Pepsi. We didn’t realize until we drove away that it was Diet Pepsi. Everyone has bad days, but it is unacceptable to treat people so poorly. I do not recommend this Dunkin at all.
- FFFox FamilyJun 14, 20261.0🚨 Check Your Receipts! Unauthorized Tipping Scam at This Location 🚨 Be extremely careful checking out at this Dunkin'. I looked at my receipt and realized the system had automatically charged me the MAXIMUM tip amount, even though the customer-facing screen never displayed a tipping option or gave me a choice to opt out.When I immediately confronted the manager about this unauthorized charge, their behavior was incredibly shady. Instead of reversing or removing the unauthorized tip from my card, they quickly offered to refund the price of my drink instead.This is a known retail trick: by refunding the drink instead of the tip, the employees get to pocket your stolen tip money, the manager writes off the drink as a "customer service error," and the register still balances at the end of the night. The manager and the staff are absolutely in on this together.Do not trust the digital screens here. Always ask for a physical, printed receipt and check the math before you drive away or leave the counter. I have already reported this location to Dunkin' corporate for credit card fraud. Disgusting customer service.
