I only order from here maybe once a month, usually because I've forgotten the most recent poor experience. In contrast I go to the Dunkin' down the street at least several times a week. I can't remember the last time Dunkin' got my order wrong, but every time I go through this McDonald's drive-thru it's a crapshoot of whether they'll get my order right. This morning they handed me my big breakfast with hot cakes without any syrup, butter, jam, napkins, ketchup or utensils. I peeked in the bag but missed that until I got home. I also tested my coffee which was only lukewarm right from the drive-thru window, that should have been my clue to check the bag better. My bad, but why should I have needed to check? McDonald's has spent millions on research and development to make the serving process their idiot-proof. They weren't at all busy and I just didn't want to deal with going inside or going through the drive-thru again to get a hot cup of coffee. The reason I mentioned Dunkin just down the street, they tend to be way busier but faster filling orders and yet as often as I go there I can't remember the last time they got my order wrong. Actually, I'm not sure the Calais Dunkin has ever gotten one of my orders wrong. Whatever they're doing hiring, training, or motivating their employees, the manager at this McDonald's, or maybe the owners if the manager is the issue, should give Dunkin a call and ask them. Thanks for ruining my morning McDonald's, and for not providing the full product that I paid for. Seriously, check with Dunkin to see why they get it right so consistently and you don't.
