Was told they only had one hat and couldn’t sell it per direction of the manager Jess. That in my mind is poor customer service to have something and refuse sale. The waitress was very nice. All around just thought it was very petty to inform us they did have a hat but couldn’t sell it. Why not just say sorry fresh out?

While we were still eating, staff began putting chairs up around us, sweeping, mopping, and generally shutting down the dining room. It felt as though the focus had shifted from serving customers to closing the restaurant as quickly as possible. We completely understand that employees have closing responsibilities and that Otto’s is not a fine dining restaurant. However, customers who arrive during posted business hours should still feel welcome. The atmosphere tonight made us feel like we were being pushed out the door rather than allowed to enjoy our meal. What was especially unfortunate is that we genuinely like this location and visit often. The pizza was great as always, but the service and overall experience left a lot to be desired. We hope management can address this with the staff so that future customers are not made to feel rushed while the restaurant is still open.
