  Absolutely delicious! Our food was prepared fresh and you could absolutely tell! The area is so fortunate to have this little gem. The Bangor area really lacks diversity when it comes to food and this little spot is doing it right!

  When in Maine, I often hunger for spices and flavors "from away". This clearly hits the spot, and we get familiar middle-eastern and NY-streetside tastes and aromatics. Everything we have ordered has been delicious and personally cooked and attended to by the one-man restaurant. He works diligently, and always offers a smile and graciousness of service. This is a real treat. We don't live locally, so always opt to eat "in" the cramped yet clean quarters...but it appears as if the majority of the business is "to-go" and the "service" lends itself to that, as well.

  The food was delicious. The NY style chicken with rice was the closest to NYC I've had since moving.

  One must visit this place! I tried the Lamb Chops Over Rice and the NYC-Style Chicken Over Rice. The lamb was outstanding—full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The rice, salad, and portion sizes were generous and satisfying. The NYC-Style Chicken Over Rice was equally flavorful and well-seasoned, with a great portion size. With excellent food, generous portions, great service, and reasonable prices, this place truly stands out. Everything about the experience was fantastic. If I visit Maine again, I will definitely come back here for this meal. Highly recommended and a must-visit!
