DO NOT EAT HERE !
This location used to be so good, and I've been a loyal customer for years. Unfortunately, after my recent experiences, I won't be coming back.
For the past few months, I've had repeated interactions with two employees, Iesha and Kiyomi, that left me feeling uncomfortable. Both have come across as cold, unfriendly, and dismissive toward me. There was never a greeting, a smile, or even basic acknowledgment, which was very different from how I've seen other customers treated.
Today was the final straw. I had someone in my back seat with tinted windows, and I was asked to pull around while they brought my food out. As we drove away, the person with me noticed one of the employees make what they felt was a rude facial expression. That experience, combined with the previous interactions, reinforced my feeling that I was being treated differently. As a Black customer, I can't ignore how these repeated experiences have made me feel.
I want to be clear that this is my personal experience and why I no longer feel comfortable eating here. It's disappointing because the rest of the staff have always been kind, and the restaurant itself is clean.
After leaving, I came back to take photos of the two employees because I wanted to document my experience. They laughed while I was there, which I found childish and unprofessional. I asked for their names I was told Iesha and Kiyomi.
I hate having to leave a review like this because I've supported this restaurant for years. I sincerely hope management addresses customer service concerns so that everyone feels welcomed and treated with respect.
