  Every time I start to think this place is worth it some catastrophe happens in my experience. First, their meat is either bad or going bad and still left out. The butcher and seafood departments are never open at the same time or during conceive times. Their produce is constantly full of fruit flies. Heads of lettuce are rotten from the inside out and their other produce is hit or miss, mostly miss. This place is old, little to no brand pride and getting worse not better. The coolers holding produce are rusted through, lighting is dinghy, and I don’t think the floors have been deep cleaned in a decade. The deli and hot food service section seems always dirty to completely stained and their Starbucks is always out of one or more key ingredients. I think the bulk part of their business is convenience and the fact they have a lottery and Pokémon machine at the front. Not to mention, charging for paper bags is an insult, one thing if it was a plastic bag but being charged for a recycled bag that rips unless you have two equal hands on it is hilarious. Would love to see this place shut down and Albertsons completely renovate this thing.

  I use the store app and look for the members prices and digital coupons that are personalized for me. I will get fried chicken and donuts so fast! I know, I'm terrible! 😅🫠😅

  Today I stopped at Safeway To make one purchase. As I got in line, the only line that was open with a teller, the teller looked up at me and said I’m sorry you’ll have to use the do it yourself scanners to pay for your item. At the time she was waiting on an employee of the store and continue to talk to her. I told her I would not use a self checkout that I want you to be waited on and she said well, then walk on over there to the self checkout and I’ll be right with you and I’ll do it for you. Now you have to understand I’m fully disabled. But I did walk down there and I waited about three minutes and she didn’t show up. she was still talking to the other employee at her register so then I went up to the front desk to register a complaint and see if I could pay for it there. There was no one there so I had to ring a Bell. Someone came right out. She apologized for the problem and she took my money for the one item that I wanted to buy, the cashier came up behind us and said I told her I would help her at the self-pay and once again I said I do not use self-pay as that means you will not have a job and unless you’re planning on paying me $27 an hour and give me an employee discount. I’m not gonna go do the work of checking out my own groceries. Needless to say I will not be returning there. I will go where they want my business and someone will be there to wait on me.

  I went to this location yesterday the 9th of July. Usually no issues and if something comes up it is fixed but this.....this is just disgusting. While getting Navel oranges I picked on up and the bottom was completely covered in what appeared to be mold. It was squishy, flat on sides, had a weird feel and smell to it.i mentioned it in passing of one of the employees but it seemed as though they did not care. I go to this place due to convenience, sometimes pricing is better and quality of fruit is almost always better. Please check any and all items when getting them. This is not the first time either. I got tomatos years ago, the 4 pack of the safeway brand and when I got home 3 of them were molding on the bottom. Couldn't tell from the package, went back a few days later to get individuals and same thing molding. Please do better
