  I grew up in Carroll county and have been a loyal customer of Giant since it opened. I moved away 9 years ago and recently moved back. I have to say I was a little disappointed when I returned to my favorite grocery store. Not only were the selections poor and didn’t seem to have the fresh bakery items and prepared foods that they once did, worse was the service. I stood at the deli forever before getting service. Additionally when I went to checkout the young man was standing at the register on his phone and didn’t even greet me. Then he began scanning my items and packing raw chicken with my fresh produce. I had to unpack the bags and repack them while he stood and watched, still saying nothing. My question is, “Is there any kind of training being done?” Are these young adults taught to greet people or pack a bag correctly? If not, then you might as well remove them and make the entire store self service! Please teach your employees politeness and proper customer service!

  I love going to giants because they almost always have what I’m looking for. The stores are clean, the lines move smoothly and it’s usually a short wait time.

  HORRIBLE management! A lawsuit waiting to happen over at this location. I don’t recommend anyone to shop here because of how awful they treat employees and the work experience in general so I can only imagine the unethical food practices that follow.

  On the expensive side. Huge selection of different foods. I bought pre-made food made there for lunches and when I don't have time to cook, and everything i purchased was delicious.

  The store itself is a great however the online pick up leaves something to be desired. Substitution approvals often only get sent we after you have passed the window for making changes on you order prompting the store to remove the item. The delay notification could also be made more helpful, I have had several orders get delayed by times that range between 30 min - 2 hours; the store cannot predict when they will get delayed that is understandable but surly it could better communicate how far they are delayed rather than making you wait until you get to the store to find that out.
