  I had an experience with a very rude employee at Westminster store. This employee wanted to fight me because he thought I threw items back into the freezer, but they only fell. He told me to get my ass back before I left the area and I refuse that he went to the manager and complained the manager about it and then wanted to take me outside and fight me.

  I grew up in Carroll county and have been a loyal customer of Giant since it opened. I moved away 9 years ago and recently moved back. I have to say I was a little disappointed when I returned to my favorite grocery store. Not only were the selections poor and didn’t seem to have the fresh bakery items and prepared foods that they once did, worse was the service. I stood at the deli forever before getting service. Additionally when I went to checkout the young man was standing at the register on his phone and didn’t even greet me. Then he began scanning my items and packing raw chicken with my fresh produce. I had to unpack the bags and repack them while he stood and watched, still saying nothing. My question is, “Is there any kind of training being done?” Are these young adults taught to greet people or pack a bag correctly? If not, then you might as well remove them and make the entire store self service! Please teach your employees politeness and proper customer service!

  I love going to giants because they almost always have what I’m looking for. The stores are clean, the lines move smoothly and it’s usually a short wait time.
