- HHHeidiAug 28, 20261.0This Upperco Dunkin’ has, by far, some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced—especially if you go inside during the morning hours. I completely understand that mornings are busy. I expect a wait, especially in the drive-thru, and that honestly isn’t my issue. My issue is the complete lack of basic customer service. When you walk inside, there is no “good morning,” “hello,” or even “how can I help you?” You’re often just stared at until you figure out that you’re supposed to start ordering. At checkout, there’s no “thank you”—just “it went through.” The drive-thru isn’t much different: “What do you want?” followed by your order being handed to you, sometimes with coffee spilled all over the outside of the cup. No greeting. No thank you. No basic courtesy. One younger employee who regularly works the front counter in the mornings is particularly bad. He often just stares at customers without saying anything and comes across as though interacting with customers is an inconvenience. It is incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I’m not expecting employees at a busy Dunkin’ to roll out a red carpet. I’m expecting the absolute basics of customer service: acknowledge the customer, say hello, communicate, hand someone a clean cup, and maybe say thank you. At this point, I genuinely wonder whether management is paying attention to the customer experience here. Does being one of the only convenient coffee options in the area mean customer service simply doesn’t matter? Because that is increasingly what it feels like. A busy morning explains a wait. It does not explain employees barely speaking to customers or making them feel unwelcome. Management really needs to spend some time observing what the customer experience is actually like inside this location during the morning shift.

Well, you didn't hear iced coffee either. I get mistakes happen, but Dunkin only offers like 14 things on their entire menu. It's not that difficult.
