Unfortunately, this location consistently seems understaffed, especially toward closing time. I had to wait a long time for an online order, and when I finally received it, my chicken wrap was cold. The cashier was also responsible for preparing orders, which made it clear that one employee was being expected to handle too much at once. This location definitely needs additional staff and, ideally, a supervisor on duty at all times to help ensure operations run smoothly. I’ve also noticed that the smoothies are inconsistent in taste and quality depending on who prepares them. More thorough and consistent employee training should be mandatory so customers receive the same quality product regardless of who is working. Overall, I believe better staffing, supervision, and training would significantly improve the customer experience at this location.

I usually go to the tropical in Clinton but since I was near I tried this location. I wasn’t happy with my visit . Outside of me having the long wait time, I ordered a Baja chicken wrap for the first time just to try it out and the portions was small and my chicken was cold.

A women with a lip piercing and glasses who I believe was the manger, handed me my food, a flat bread. I tried explaining to her the lettuce was really brown and the tomato’s were soggy. She gave me the nastiest attitude and tried refusing to remake it.

There was only two people there which caused me to wait forever for my food. I asked for no blueberries on my acai bowl because I am allergic and they still gave me some with little portions of everything.

This was my first time visiting this location, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. When I walked in, there were several young employees sitting in the back on their phones. Even though there were no customers, it took about two minutes before someone finally came around the corner to help me. I ordered two sides of corn, but after ringing me up, the employee told me they only had one available, so I had to substitute chips for the other. When I got home and opened my wrap, I was shocked by how small it was. I’ve ordered the same wrap from the Brandywine location before, and this one was noticeably smaller. To make matters worse, the wrap was hard and overcooked, making it even more disappointing. For almost $10 a wrap, I expected a lot more food and much better quality. I also realized I had been charged twice for the corn, even though I only received one. After reading the other reviews, it’s clear that many customers have had similar experiences. It doesn’t seem like management has addressed the ongoing issues. Even though this is the closest Tropical Smoothie to my house, I won’t be returning. I’ll gladly drive to the Brandywine location instead.
