  Got the chckn chz steak,, food was banging,,lol, but they charged me $3 to chop up some fresh tomatoes and lettuce...lol,,smh. It be ya own ppl..lol,,smh

  We chose Selby’s based on a strong tasting, but the wedding day execution was unacceptable. There was a clear staffing issue—at one point only one staff member was handling everything and was visibly overwhelmed. Basic service like water refills was inconsistent, and the cocktail hour wasn’t ready when guests arrived. The presentation felt rushed and unorganized. Most disappointing, the food quality did not match the tasting at all. It came across as underwhelming and thrown together. Even the cornbread, which should have been a simple highlight, was served dry and falling apart into crumbs. We actually have photos showing how poorly it was presented. We raised these concerns directly with Selby’s after the wedding. They responded within two days saying they would review it, then completely stopped responding. It’s now been over two weeks with no follow-up, which shows a lack of accountability and professionalism. For a wedding, this level of service is unacceptable.

  A Must-Visit in St. Charles** **Overall Impression:** A quaint, welcoming gem! Even though I live in Atlanta, I will be "dipping in" every single time I come to visit my grandchildren up the street. A huge thank you to Pam for the friendly face and exceptional service. **The Food:** We really explored the menu and were not disappointed: * **The Main Event:** I had the **Whiting Plate**, and my husband went for the **Jumbo Chicken**. Both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. * **The Sides:** As someone who loves to cook, I’m picky! The **collard greens** and **yams** were fantastic. The **macaroni and cheese** was also a hit—you can tell it’s made with care. *Pro-Tip for Visitors:** Just a heads-up that they don't serve breakfast all day (it stops at 12:00pm 1 on Sundays). While I was a little disappointed at first that I could not have grits with my fish.. Thank you Pam.. and chef Congrats on The View .. can't wait to see it come to light.. Oh and you can also catch your favorite games 4 screens and split..

  It was great. The owner was very nice very informative and also gave a sample of their new collard green gumbo. 👌🏾👌🏾😩😩 So good I drank the broth. I got the Philly cheese steak my sis got the salmon cheese steak both were finished. Great atmosphere great music chill vibe and they have drinks. Just go y'all dang.
