Urban Winery was the perfect venue for our 65 person private event. We wanted a charming space that could handle catering, drinks, and logistics in house with a reasonable food and beverage minimum, and Urban Winery delivered on every point. After exploring many options, we were thrilled to find this one. From the initial phone call through all the planning messages to the event itself, the staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our event great. They went above and beyond at every step. It was also a huge relief that the indoor space comfortably fit our entire group, especially since it rained throughout the event — though the outdoor area is lovely as well. If you’re looking to host a private event or simply enjoy a few glasses of excellent wine, Urban Winery is absolutely worth a visit.

A Hidden Gem & Incredible Dog-Friendly Event Venue! @Toby's Rescue had an amazing time at Urban Winery of Silver Spring this past weekend! We reached out to Kelly earlier this year about hosting a reunion for our Toby's Rescue satos and pawrents, and they welcomed us with open arms. We had over 80 adopters, volunteers, and fosters gather to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of local wines, beers, and delicious nibbles. The entire team at Urban Winery could not have been nicer or more accommodating. While the location is a bit hidden and off the beaten path, it is absolutely a treasure worth finding! On top of being the best dog-friendly spot around, they frequently host live music, bingo, and other fun community events. We highly recommend visiting Urban Winery of Silver Spring whether you're catching up with friends or hosting a special gathering!

We made a 6 pm reservation for a Friday night. When we arrived, we waited ten minutes to be seated. When no host appeared we asked the bartender what to do. She pointed us to our reserved table and said she would bring menus. Another ten minutes passed and no menu appeared, so we left. The two people on staff were preoccupied by a small group party and could not be bothered. We went instead to Lime and Cilantro, where the service is as excellent as the food and drinks.
