I had a very disappointing experience at McDonald’s that needs to be addressed.
I ordered two fish fillet meals, each priced at $9.49, which are supposed to come with a medium fry and a drink. However, when I received my order, both meals came with small fries instead of medium fries even though I was charged for medium.
I went inside to politely speak with the manager and explained the issue. Instead of correcting it or offering proper customer service, she told me she “doesn’t have control over that” and that I would need to talk to someone else. That response alone was frustrating, because as a manager, resolving customer concerns should absolutely be part of her role.
When I insisted that she could at least provide additional fries to match what I paid for, she took the fries I had, threw them away, and she said in Spanish I am still going to give her the same fries and then handed me the same amount of fries in the same small container still not correcting the issue.
On top of that, I specifically requested no salt on my fries, but the fries she gave me clearly had salt on them, showing a complete disregard for my order request.
Overall, this experience lacked professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. This interaction did not reflect the core values that McDonald’s claims to uphold, such as serving customers first, integrity, and creating a positive experience.
I paid for a certain standard and did not receive it, and the way the situation was handled made it even worse. I hope this location takes this feedback seriously and improves both accuracy and management behavior moving forward.
Also the manager was out of dress code for work didn’t have her name tag. The mc values and the pictures of why I was suppose to receive are attached to this review along with the McDonald’s value and I am also a McDonald’s valued customer.
