- NCNana CherifApr 18, 20231.0I have been a loyal customer of this Dunkin’ for years, but after my recent experiences, I will never return to this location. For months, I have been laughed at and mocked through the drive-thru speaker whenever I order five hash browns for my son. My son is a very picky eater and is on the autism spectrum, so feeding him can be challenging. Hash browns are one of the few foods he consistently eats. Hearing employees laugh, giggle, make noises, and mute the speaker while I am simply trying to order food for my child has been extremely hurtful and humiliating. I finally addressed the situation with an employee named Kevin, who responded with a grin and essentially dismissed my concerns. I became so overwhelmed that I cried at the drive-thru. I was given the contact information for the district manager, Maria, and was told the situation would be investigated through the cameras. I never received the follow-up I was promised. Unfortunately, the treatment continued. I have repeatedly felt unwelcome in this location, including employees talking among themselves, looking at me, laughing, and speaking about me in Spanish. I cannot know exactly what is being said, but the repeated behavior and overall treatment have made me extremely uncomfortable. Most recently, I ordered my usual iced coffee and specifically requested cold foam. The drink was missing the foam and did not taste as it normally does. When I brought this to their attention, employees again laughed and appeared dismissive. When I asked for the drink to be remade, the employee aggressively emptied the drink and attempted to remake it in the same cup. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable with the way I was being treated and requested a refund, I was given $4 despite paying $6.55 and had to point out the missing money. I am a paying customer who has spent hundreds of dollars at this location. I have supported this business for years, often visiting twice a day. I should not have to feel humiliated, mocked, ignored, or unwelcome while purchasing food for myself or my child. This experience has been deeply disappointing and heartbreaking. I hope Dunkin’ corporate takes this complaint seriously and investigates what is happening at this location.
