  This is our go-to place for Indian food as all the dishes we've ordered have always been delicious and the portions are generous. If you are a briyani lover, we love the ones here as they have a wide variety of styles. The staff is also friendly.

  The food was excellent and the service was great! The food was all prepared to order, had exceptional flavor, and tasted more authentic than most places. This was some of the best Indian food I’ve had. The servers were also very warm and welcoming, and the space was nice.

  Always fantastic food. Numerous types of biryanis and other dishes that you won’t see at the standard Indian restaurant. North and South represented but lots from all over the country. Tons of veg and non-veg options. Check the specials, too, for dishes that pop up. We usually do takeout but we’ve eaten in plenty of times. Friendly service and a recent renovation to the interior is very nice. (Avoid the grocery store across the lot!!, but plentiful parking, easy to get there on Rockville Pike.)

  My go to Indian food spot, great food and same great taste even after the reopening. However it does take some time to get served, but I guess the food makes up for it. I would have given it 5 stars but they keep changing the menu instead of being consistent. Will say the pricing has gotten higher over time, but you always have food to take home for another meal. Regardless, one of my favorite local spots.

  The Chettinad Family Feast was the perfect meal for a school night, when everyone is tired of normal takeout or frozen food. Our family of four upgraded to the Chilli Chicken and the Goat Dum Biriyani, and the Pineapple Kesari for dessert. Our order was ready in ~20 min and packed carefully so there could be no spills. Everything was delicious and there was plenty for everyone. We opted for the Hot, which was definitely accurate as South Indian spicy. It was so tasty, we would have enjoyed mild or medium spice, but Hot made it a whole new level, especially when partnered with the soothing raita. If you have a group with mixed spice tolerance, add a side of plain rice, naan, or raita. All in all, we had a wonderful family meal where we could chat about our day rather than struggle over the stove.
