  I usually don't care for this particular Food Lion, so I rarely go. When I lived in High Point, NC, there was one up the street from my residence on Westchester Dr., that was always clean, had a very pleasant staff, and it carried my most-purchased brands and items. This particular Food Lion on Liberty Road is gloomy; the entrance always seemed crammed with carts, etc. The staff isn't always pleasant, which is what prompted me to write this review. If you ask a staff member where a particular item is located, they act as if you're bothering them. If you speak to them, they don't speak back most of the time. So, I went to this location because I was passing by, and when I got to the cashier, whose name was Destiny, she was very pleasant, professional, and kind. She greeted me, which is a plus because I’m a stickler when it comes to that. She asked me if I found everything I needed while she scanned my items. She also talked to me about one of the items I was purchasing. After giving me my total, she thanked me for coming and told me to have a nice day. Please hire more people like Destiny. She left an indelible mark on my mind that day. It was enough to make me shop there again.
