  Sammi, the Starbucks barista in this location is horrible. She is very rude, and immature for a grown adult. Also to the managers, you should know she improperly uses her discount. I don’t recommend having her as a barista or employing her from a business perspective. She also goes to other Starbucks locations and tries to tell them she’s an employee and is entitled to a discount. She had to be told that she works for a licensed store and not a retail one and the discount rules do not apply to her. Her nickname is Sammi, not sure if that’s short for Samantha. This is for the Starbucks inside the Safeway location, also she claims to work there for the last 3 years

  The store is always clean and it’s a great location. However, there is always a customer service issue every time I go here, they just have bad attitudes.

  I have had numerous terrible customer service experiences at this Safeway. About six months ago, There was a price discrepancy that I was able to prove per the app. The cashier saw and agreed. She called the manager, an elderly lady who treated both the employee and I absolutely horribly. I apologized to the cashier for the way that the manager spoke to her, and the cashier told me that she talks to her like that all the time. Such a shame. Since then, I only come in here and there and instead I drive to the Benfield Road store, even though this Safeway is five minutes from my home. The few times that I have been in there lately I have been approached by the foreign lady manager, I’m sorry I don’t know her name, and treated like I was trying to steal something even though I’m clearly not and have my Special needs son with me every time I come in. Both times I have had to look up a produce item because there was not a tag on it. Last time, a green pepper and this time a watermelon. The way she spoke to me “about making sure I scan the item and not look it up” was atrocious. Little did she know there was no tag for me to scan. This was two different occasions that she treated me this way. The first time she literally screamed at me “what are you trying to look up. You shouldn’t be looking anything up you should be scanning it.” Excuse me? I am not a child. I am 43 years old.A few years ago, I had an incident with her over a bag of chips because she didn’t want to admit that she was in the wrong when it was plain as day and clear what the price was. Maybe this review is all over the place because maybe I should’ve waited until I calmed down to write it, but she cannot keep treating customers the way that she does. I think from now on, I will continue driving to the Benfield Safeway.
