We were a party of 5 visiting Washington from Florida and NJ, celebrating a friend’s birthday. We had a 40 minute wait for our dinner. Service was very good. Our waiter was courteous and friendly. The birthday person had ordered the Steak and Shrimp dish, that turned out to be very disappointing. There were 5 thin slices of meat and 3 shrimp that looked like they were just plopped on top of the meat. The portion of the mashed potatoes was large to compensate for the small portion of meat. This was such a disappointment that I would not be returning to this place or recommend it. I can understand the wait time for the meal but the presentation and quantity of the meat and shrimp was unacceptable . It is for that reason that I have rated the restaurant with 3 stars.

I don't believe you read the entire review. We're not happy. While we gave 5 stars, the circumstance I addressed has not been. We celebrated our anniversary here. Everything was fantastic. HOWEVER, our water asked if we wanted to join their frequent dinner club which we do with any business that we like. My wife signed up with the waiter and I did it online. When we received the bill, we noticed that he charged us $25.00 to sign up!!! He never informed us there was a charge or we would not have signed up. I was not charged when I registered online. I hope something is done about this charge before I dispute it.

The coconut shrimp, and fried shrimp are the best. They could use a bit of seasoning, but they are still outstanding. I tried the chicken pasta, it was terrible. It was bland, and did not taste good . I’d describe it as terrible. I even tried the filet mignon , it was horrible. The filet had no seasoning and the texture didn’t appear to be real steak. I don’t know whom the chef is, but the chef needs help. I went to McCormics and Schmidt’s , because the one in Altaic city is pretty good. If I’m ever at the national harbor again, I’ll stick with the shrimp, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. The filet mignon cost $50.00, what a waste of money. I guess it’s true, if you want a steak, you’d better go to a steak house.

First i would like to spare my wife made every attempt to make this anniversary dinner a special occasion for the both of us. Reservation was at 6pm we arrived 5:45 for happy hour at the bar to have drinks before dinner. The level of effort to make this dinner special went right out the door. The young lady that greeted us couldn’t accommodate us to a booth setting until I asked to speak with a manager. The price of service has no value anymore. If we continue to allow restaurants to operate like this we will waste our hard earned money and steal our money and joy. We must start walking away. Regardless of the occasion or situation. I want you just want the right people in the right places to ensure customer satisfaction is the main focus before the customer starts eating. 💰💰💰💰💰💰( 08-19-2026 at 6pm)

Located right in the heart of National Harbor, this restaurant has one of its biggest advantages before you even step inside—the location. Just outside is a beautiful stretch of the Potomac River waterfront, making it a great spot to enjoy the scenery before or after your meal. The dining room is modern, stylish, and has an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. The staff were warm, attentive, and accommodating, doing their best to meet our requests throughout the meal. Overall, the food was good with no major disappointments, although none of the dishes really stood out as a must-order. Wagyu Carpaccio – 3/5 ($16) The beef was decent but not particularly memorable, and the slices were a little thicker than what I’d expect for a carpaccio. It also could have used more truffle aioli, as the flavor was barely noticeable. Crispy Fried Calamari – 5/5 ($18.80) One of the highlights of the meal. The calamari was tender with a pleasant bite, while the coating stayed light and crispy. Steamed Black Mussels – 5/5 ($16.90) Another standout. The mussels were fresh, plump, and perfectly cooked. The broth was flavorful without being overly salty, making it easy to finish every last bite. Parmesan Flounder (Chef’s Special) – 3/5 ($18.90) I had high expectations since this was the chef’s special. The flounder itself was nicely cooked with a crisp exterior, but the Parmesan topping overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. The whole broccoli served alongside was overly fibrous and difficult to cut, even with a standard dinner knife. Fish & Chips – 5/5 ($20) A classic done well. Crispy outside, flaky inside, and exactly what you’d expect from a good fish and chips. Not especially unique, but satisfying. Seafood Alfredo – 4/5 ($22.90) The seafood was good, but the Alfredo sauce leaned a bit dry and could have been creamier and more velvety to better coat the pasta. Overall, this is a restaurant I’d recommend more for its excellent waterfront location, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service than for its food alone. The dishes were consistently good and well prepared, but I didn’t find a signature item that would make me specifically return just for the cuisine. If you’re spending time at National Harbor, however, it’s certainly a solid choice for a relaxing meal with a beautiful view.
