Flies in my food and small portions. The restaurant clearly doesn’t care about the food it serves, but the bartender was polite at least.

I don't normally leave reviews like this, but the service here was terrible from beginning to end. When I walked in, no one greeted or acknowledged me for about five minutes. Eventually, my server saw me and asked if I was dining in. I told him yes, just one person. I followed him toward a booth that he started cleaning, thanked him, and he responded, “Oh naw, you can sit wherever you want.” Okay... I chose the booth directly behind the one he was cleaning because there was already another table nearby. I was actually trying to make things easier for him by keeping his tables in the same area. He asked what I wanted to drink, and I also asked for a menu. He tossed the menu onto my table and walked away. When I ordered my food, he asked me something about fries, but he was speaking so quietly over the music that I couldn't understand him. I asked him to repeat himself, and he did it with an attitude. Then he asked ranch or blue cheese. Again, I couldn't hear him clearly, and again, he seemed irritated that I asked him to repeat himself. After my drink came, I asked where the bathroom was so I could wash my hands. He completely ignored me. I asked again. Nothing. I asked a THIRD time, louder, and he finally just casually pointed in a direction without saying a word. Here's where it really became noticeable: another table came in, and all three occupied tables were basically one booth after another. The restaurant was nearly empty. Suddenly, I could hear him loud and clear while he talked to the other two tables. He was friendly, conversational, and had no problem speaking up. So clearly the issue wasn't that he couldn't communicate over the music. When I finished eating, I asked for my bill. He ignored me. I asked again. Still ignored. The third time, I asked louder, and he finally responded, “You want your bill?” almost as if he were trying to be funny. Yes. That's generally why someone asks for their bill. He brought it over, and I immediately handed him a $20 for my $14.84 check. My change should have been $5.16. I asked for my change THREE times. Each time, I was told he was going to bring it. Eventually, I turned around and saw him casually hanging out behind the bar. At that point, I got up and went to him myself and demanded my change. He handed me a crumpled-up $5 bill. I took it and left. He can keep the 16 cents. I normally tip extremely well when I dine alone because I understand that a one-person table means a smaller check for the server. But a tip is earned through service, and I wasn't going to chase someone down for my own money just so I could turn around and tip him for repeatedly ignoring me. The food was fine and the restaurant was clean, but the service was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially considering there were only three occupied tables in the entire place.
