  I don't usually shop at this location but they sell a brand of wine i like. I place the order online then went to pick it up. The two bottles were carelessly thrown into a plastic bag and tied shut. I thought this was an improper way to pack two glass bottles. I was right. As soon as I set the bag down on my floorboard I hear shattering. Wine had leaked everywhere in my car. I go back inside to customer service and there was a young man behind the counter. I showed the bag and shrugged like he could care less. I'm not a person that demands money back but that would have been nice or at least offer me a new bottle. Very poor customer service.

  우리 마을에 좋은 가계 입니다. 하나 큰 문제점 있습니다. 바로 약국 입니다 얼마전에 약국에서 인슐린을 구입 며칠지나 우연히 유효기일이 5개월된 약을 구입 문제점을 약국에 통보 약국 메니져에서 의사 처방전이라며 불친절하게 말 합니다. 분명히 나는 외국인이고 인종차별적인 대우를 받았습니다 그리고 어제 인슐인을 구입 확인 2년 유효기일을 받았습니다. 문제점은 이러한 상황이 약국이 아닌 생명이 문제인 약국에서 발생한다는 것이 너무 큰 충격적 입니다. 동네 약국에 메니저.약사 얼굴을 기억하고 있습니다. 가계주인 되시는 분은 해결 해주십시요 영어가 부족해서 죄송합니다 약국은 아주 중요한 장소 입니다

  I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience at the Safeway in Olney (20832) has been consistently disappointing, and I feel it’s important to share. The biggest issue is with the store director, AJ (Amanda). In my experience, her attitude toward both customers and employees has been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. A store director sets the tone for the entire store, and unfortunately, the environment here reflects poor leadership. Communication feels cold and unwelcoming, and there’s often a lack of respect in how situations are handled. Instead of creating a positive, helpful atmosphere, interactions often feel rushed or brushed off. When concerns are brought up, they don’t seem to be taken seriously, and there’s very little effort to actually resolve issues in a professional or courteous manner. This kind of leadership trickles down and affects the overall morale of the store. You can feel the tension when walking in, and it’s not the kind of experience customers expect when shopping at Safeway. It’s disappointing because this location has the potential to be great. The store itself is in a good area, and there are hardworking employees trying their best, but leadership makes a huge difference. A store director should be approachable, professional, and focused on improving both the customer experience and employee environment. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case here. I hope upper management or ownership takes the time to look into this location and the leadership style being implemented. With better management, this store could improve significantly. Until then, it’s hard to recommend this Safeway location based on the overall experience.

  I asked the guy with glasses on at the customer service desk do you guys do money orders instead of asking a coworker if you don’t know for sure he flat out told me NO! The Safeway in Olney is trash So Rude I won’t be back.
