- PPPhotographyJun 29, 20261.0Sunday June 28th 2026 around 9:30 pm I went back to food lion to return a watermelon 🍉 that I purchased around an hour earlier . The manager or assistant manager working that night was rude and confrontational about me trying to return the item. With a nasty attitude he said that I cant continue returning watermelons that are no good. He said that I'm the only one that does it Very unprofessional. This kind of behavior undermines the stores core values. I've been shopping at this food lion for over 20 years. I've spent over $80,000 at this Food Lion alone. That amount of money out weighs me returning a few watermelons by far. At this Food Lion store 98% of the people that work there are helpful and friendly towards me. I wish I could say 100% .When a customer is trying to return an item you should never be rude or confrontational. You should always Prioritize customers. It's the key to more customers and a growing business. 💯
