- BWBen WillitsMay 9, 20261.0First visit, burgers overcooked and tough to eat, fries are very soggy, I ate only one. Second visit, burger was overcooked again. Cashier joked and said “no fries this time?”, I laughed. Two back to back trips just to throw out both entire meals. It was nice when I heard the employee bragging to management about having 50 collective years at Five Guys, the professionalism and awareness shows! Drove 30 minutes each way both times for a burger, shame on me . Thanks guys !!!

I have to give both workers huge kudos. The place was busy but they both were very kind and friendly. (Sorry I did not catch the other workers name)

Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.

We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment.
