- JDja DMay 2, 20265.0I tried this place for the first time and was a bit nervous. I’m happy to say I had nothing to worry about. First the customer service was superb, on the phone and in person. I believe this is a family owned business and they’re very respectful to their customers. I ordered Egusi with jerk chicken, 2 plantain fufu, fish pie and a box of fried plantain. The Egusi was SPICY (exactly how I like it) and flavorful, the fufu smooth and tasty, the fish pie was excellent and pretty large, and the plantain wasn’t ripe plantain but still delicious. I highly recommend this place, usually I go to dc for Egusi from this restaurant off U street but now I can go around the corner for affordable and flavorful Ghanaian food!
