- LXLola XMar 17, 20261.0I got food poisoning from the Giant of Largo on Campus Way S. Ordered some seafood and the worker offered for it to be steamed….. that should’ve been a red flag then. However, I obliged. He also put a lot of old bay on it to the point where I had to rinse all of the seafood off. I consumed a small amount of the shrimp and about 4 crab leg clusters (snow crab leg) and saved the rest. I laid down and about 45 minutes later I started sweating, and having horrible stomach pains. Just getting home from the ER now.

When Giant Food relocated to its current location on Silver Hill Road (District Heights) customer service and professionalism dropped. In my opinion, there has been a decline in customer service, increase of rudeness of workers, and unprofessionalism of workers throughout the store. Gloom!! Prior to the move from the Marlboro Pike location, the Giant staff were all professionals and customers were greeted with a smile. I think training or re-training could resolve some of the problems that I have observed.
