  I got the bbq wings, collard greens, cornbread, and mac n cheese. The wings were a bit tough but the sauce was great! Not too sweet and with the tangy bbq flavor. My only complaint is that I chose ranch for my sauce and I got blue cheese. I didn’t end up using the sauce anyway but still, if someone chooses ranch don’t ever give them blue cheese. The collard greens and mac n cheese are UNSEASONED 😩. Would it kill yall to add salt at least? A little bit of pepper? Some paprika? They were so bland compared to the wings! The consistency of the Mac and cheese was good and I read some reviews saying that it tasted boxed but any boxed mac I’ve ever had was salted so you know this was made by some poor season-less soul. The cornbread was good but it was packaged in plastic, so I doubt they’re made on site.

  I’ve supported this place since early on and have always spoken highly of it because the owner has always treated us well. That’s why this experience was disappointing. My girlfriend and I drove over an hour to come here specifically for smoothies, and we made sure to arrive well before closing out of respect for the policy the owner previously explained to us. We got there around 7:45 PM for a business that closes at 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, the cashier immediately gave us attitude and acted bothered that we were ordering smoothies. Instead of trying to help or communicate professionally, she kept going back and forth with us and even suggested we go somewhere else, despite us being loyal customers who regularly support the business. What made the situation worse was the escalation afterward. The conversation became unnecessarily dramatic, and things were exaggerated in a way that didn’t reflect what actually happened. At no point was I aggressive or disrespectful — I simply expressed that it felt wrong to drive that far and be treated that way. I do want to say that the employee named Tochi remained calm, respectful, and professional throughout the situation, and I appreciate that. I’m leaving this review because customer service matters. Loyal customers should not feel dismissed or disrespected for placing an order well before closing time.

  This is my go to spot, when I want good ribs and sides and great customer service. My food has always been fresh, flavorful and comforting.

  Guys, I don't know how everyone elsefeels about it. But. experiment with cole slaw. As a NYer some places would add a slaw option. On the side or directly on the sandwich or bun.
