Went to take my wife to lunch and only 3 tables were full and earing. The waiter that checked us in said they would be 5 minutes because they were short staffed(ongoing issue with most places now). 20 minutes later and still not sat at a table. I understand if they were full but short staffed with 3 tables.. whats going on?

Told us it would be a five minute wait and and 20 minutes later we are still waiting. Mind you only 3 tables sat in the entire restaurant.

Specifically drove an hour to come to Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall, the food quality itself was decent, but the service and wait times were extremely disappointing, especially considering the restaurant was not busy and appeared appropriately staffed. Three of us arrived at 7:00 PM and ordered our drinks and appetizer immediately after being seated while waiting for the other two members of our party to arrive. The remaining two guests arrived around 7:25 PM, and by that time we still had not received our drinks. When they ordered their own drinks, we understood there may be a slight additional wait since our group did not arrive together, but it was frustrating that the original drinks ordered at 7:00 PM still had not come out by 7:25 PM. Our appetizer also took far longer than expected to arrive. One appetizer was missing the requested sauce, which we politely reminded staff about. The biggest issue throughout the evening was the timing and communication between the waitress, kitchen, and bar. We waited an excessive amount of time for our entrées, and by the time the food arrived, it was only slightly warm. One meal was also made incorrectly — a wrap was brought instead of a sandwich. Our waitress did take accountability and apologized, stating she would put in an urgent request so the corrected meal could come quickly so we could all eat together. Unfortunately, the replacement plain chicken sandwich still took nearly 25 minutes, and the fries were cold by the time it arrived. The rest of the table’s food continued getting colder while waiting. Drink service was another major issue. Refills were not checked on regularly, and even after requesting drinks multiple times, we later found out the bar had never been told to make the lemonades. We essentially went through most of dinner without drinks and intentionally ate slowly trying to wait for them. We remained patient, understanding, and respectful throughout the experience and appreciated that our waitress removed the incorrect meal from the bill. However, there was still confusion at checkout. We originally intended to have one bill, but ended up receiving two separate receipts after using Nurses Week discounts and a teacher discount. There was never any communication that the discounts required separate checks, which made the process unnecessarily confusing — especially when one discount ended up being applied to only a single lemonade. We were told there were no tables available for a party of 5 so they pulled a chair to a booth so it was kind of crowded when the drinks and plates arrived. We were not upset and accepted what they could do to accommodate us. It was a bit shocking they didn’t have a table big enough for us with such a popular establishment and just the location (Lavale, MD). So I don’t suggest a party of 5 or higher coming to this location. The overall experience was disappointing due to the excessive delays, lack of communication, and poor service flow between the waitress, kitchen, and bar. While the food itself was okay, the extremely slow service and repeated issues made the dining experience far below expectations. We appreciate the politeness of the waitress throughout our dinner.

It was not busy the night we came in to eat. It was about 8:00pm on a Saturday night before Mother’s Day. Two of us. We ordered a tea and a sprite. The sprite tasted like soap. So a doctor pepper was ordered instead. We ordered the premium bottomless appetizers. They were good. We got the cheese curds, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. Took forever for the server to come back to take our order (and for the sprite to be switched.) We ordered 15 traditional wings, (5 hot, 5 Nashville hot and 5 sweet bbq.) A mushroom Swiss burger with no onions. 10 traditional flats-only wings with 5 Caribbean jerk and 5 dry rub hot. And beer battered onion rings. The burger had some kind of very hot pepper on it (which wasn’t advertised) which was actually uncomfortably hot. The 10 flats-only wings came out hot and good. The 15 mix of sauces were all slopped together. I couldn’t tell which was which with some of them because they were completely covered in a very large excess of all the sauces. They were not good. They were also lukewarm, room temperature. The onion rings never were eaten because the wings with the sauces mixed were so bad they ruined the appetite. The server did not check on us except to drop off the food, and once when we were done trying to eat and asked for boxes. She brought two small round boxes… For a full order of onion rings, 3 mozzarella sticks, celery and carrots, and about 18 wings. I am a server. I understand what busy is and when the night is just off. We were her only table after folks with a tiny baby left. They seemed to just be sitting on their phones for a good 20 minutes before the server acknowledged them being finished. This was a horrible experience and honestly I will never be back. There did not seem to be any manager on duty? Uncertain. I feel bad for leaving a bad tip. But hey, you get enough bad tips you’ll eventually learn to be better or that serving just isn’t for you. We didn’t get out of there until 9:45. It should not have taken almost 2 hours at a Buffalo Wild Wings. We eat fast. Not to mention the baseball commentary in the ladies room was extremely off-putting. I thought there were dudes in there or right outside the door. Also it was obscenely loud even though no people were loud. The tvs were all on blast.

Was just dining in a few days ago, service was slow. Have had issues with speed in the past, dining in was rough. Decided to give pick up a go after we haven’t done it in quite some time. We set the pick up time for 6:50pm, showed up at 7:10pm, I’ve currently been here for 15min (7:25pm), have had several people ask me if I’ve been helped yet. Still no food, and honestly after the experiences we’ve had over the past several years here, I’ll be surprised if it’s here in another 15min and all items are accounted for. They like to tie those bags tight hoping you don’t check. If another boneless wing place opens up, we’ll be switching, it has to be better than this. No wonder the company has had a 3.5% drop in revenue in the past year and closes a few locations every quarter.
