Lisa was smiling and helpful at the deli counter, Sharon smiled and said hello as we passed and Brenda offered me a warm greeting at the cash register. In an area where most stores treat you like a transaction, this Safeway treats you like a human.

The staff members are consistently friendly and helpful, and the selection of meats, seafood, and baked goods is outstanding. Parking is convenient, and the premises are entirely safe. Furthermore, I would like to commend the deli department for their delicious fried chicken family special every Monday. My family and I are very grateful to have such a wonderful neighborhood grocery store.

When we went to pick it up with receipt in hand they had given my order to another person. I think the worst part was the person never offered an apology and was nasty. They said what do you want me to do make them again? Well yes. It took a call to a manager who was very apocalyptic and helpful to get the situation taken care of. I will never use Safeway catering again.

I don't know what happened but the floral department has taken a downward spiral. There are lots of wilted flowers mixed in with the fresh flowers and the variety has dwindled. Please pay attention to this section of the store. Even if they aren't buying flowers, it's the first thing your customers see walking in the door on that side.
