  The cashier working at the kiosks today acted as if he owned the store. I had placed my own order and was about to pay for one for a friend when he cancelled the order. I wasn't stealing—I was just placing an order for a friend. That isn't customer service; it makes you feel like you're being treated like a thief.

  Cashier wasted a plastic bag. She started to put a piece of meat into a plastic bag and when I said please don't she threw away the bag. First, I didn't want the bag because it is pollution. Second, the plastic bag was totally clean, unused and could have been used for a different customer, she was just lazy. Please tell your cashiers to ask people if they want something i9n an extra bag before starting to use one. Safeway will save money, too,

  I am a regular shopper at the Safeway closest to my home, and unfortunately, the customer service there is consistently poor and many items are frequently out of stock. A few days ago, a relative asked me to take her to a different Safeway to pick up a few groceries, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the moment we walked in, the store was clean, well-stocked, welcoming, and the staff was genuinely friendly. During our visit, we couldn't locate two items, so we asked Marcus for assistance. Although he wasn't able to find them right away, he didn't just leave us wondering. He came back to update us on his progress and let us know he was going to ask a colleague for help. That's when Gregory stepped in, since it was his department. Both Marcus and Gregory went out of their way to assist my elderly aunt and me with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Their willingness to take a few extra minutes to help us made a lasting impression. Exceptional customer service like theirs is hard to find, and it truly made our shopping experience enjoyable. Because of Marcus and Gregory, I have decided that this will now be my home Safeway instead of the one closest to where I live. Thank you both for your outstanding customer service and for reminding me how enjoyable grocery shopping can be when employees genuinely care about their customers.

  I love Safeway, love the app and all the coupons I get and I saved a lot of money every time I go or order online, always fresh produce and meat, great selection of hot food and just find everything I need.
