  My hubby decided to get me dungeonis crab legs as a surprise. They looked really good, but the taste was to be less than desired. The dungeonis crabs legs were too old. The meat was stringy and tuff. Word of advise to Safeway seafood... please stop selling outdated dungeonis crab legs. Someone could get very sick from old crab meat. Additionally, he purchased mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese from the deli. Not sure how they made the mac n cheese but the noodles were under cooked and the cheese sauce had no flavor. The mashed potatoes weren't bad, but not my cup of tea. Really disappointed because normally Safeway sells really great food items. Not sure if we shop at this particular Safeway again.

  My complaint is I am disabled and I must have a car to ride,9,11,26 I was there Only one none working car so the staff had to get my medicine for me I could not shop at all,as of now I can't come to the store until you provide a riding car , Safeway does not seem to look out for us disabled shopper, Please provide some cars as soon as possible,This is were I shop.i don't have a car Metro Access bring me there.if seats were outside I could seat there and wait for my ride PLEASE HELP

  Worst Safeway store I’ve ever shopped in. The stores I have worked in albeit many years ago the manager and therefore the staff wanted to ensure the same service and availability at opening as well as 6 pm at night. Numerous times of the day have shown up and shelves were empty. Today I go at 0900 there is not the product I want in the milk department. I asked the worker if they had any of this. He didn’t go look or apologize for not having it. Just said “what we have is there”. Hmmm you didn’t have anything there cause if u did I wouldn’t have asked. Therefore, I will Not spending my money at this store again!#poorcustomerservice

  ⭐ 1-Star Review I had a very disappointing and disrespectful experience at Safeway today. When I went to the checkout, the young cashier was on her phone using Instagram and chatting with a coworker while we were actively placing our groceries on the conveyor belt. Throughout the entire transaction, she never greeted us, never said hello, never asked how we were doing, and did not even properly communicate the total of our purchase. Her attention appeared to be completely focused on her phone and her conversation rather than on doing her job and assisting the customer in front of her. When I had enough I asked the lady if she was ready, she then looked at us and rolled her eyes. I felt completely ignored and disrespected as a paying customer. I was so frustrated by the interaction that I didn't even bother entering my phone number at the register to receive the available savings because I simply wanted to pay and leave the store. I also left a negative rating on the pin pad when I was asked about my shopping experience. After leaving the store, I called and spoke directly with the manager. I want to make it clear that the manager handled my complaint very professionally and politely. She listened to what happened and assured me that she would take steps to address the situation. I appreciate her professionalism and willingness to take the complaint seriously. I have also posted a picture of my receipt with this review. I encourage management to review the security cameras from the time of my transaction. The cameras should clearly show the cashier's lack of attention to the customer and her continued use of her phone while customers were checking out. Customers should not have to stand at a register while an employee is more interested in Instagram and personal conversations than providing basic customer service. Safeway needs to make sure employees understand that when they are at the register, the customer should be their priority. I hope management follows through and uses this situation as an opportunity to improve customer service at this location.

  I went to this Safeway and experienced problems with the self check out… now nobody was there to help me except for this very sweet woman Ms. Patrice, in which she was already working by assisting other customers in her own line as well… so not only was she an amazing help, but surprisingly we also shared the same exact first name which I’m also named Patrice… I’m extremely grateful to her and would always recommend her for any assistance that’s needed on demand!!! Thanks again MS.Patrice!!!!
