- PPPositively PickyJun 17, 20265.0This is not your place to go for normal mall food. This is your magnificently abnormal moment of extravagant flavor in an otherwise barren wasteland. I'm not trying to throw shade on the mall because I love the mall - and any mall - and just malls in general - but I'm normally sweeping malls for the vibes and not for the food. Thank you to all of the discerning local Redditors out there who recommended this place because that "hidden gem" moniker really rings true for me. My friend said that he did not like the mango drink that he was served there so maybe he needs to go back and try the actual food (or maybe I need to go back so that I can try more stuff and leave a more trusted review). However, so far, the Nachos Grande have been taken very seriously and the consomme for the Birria Tacos was 100% deserving of white table cloth service (if I weren't the one dining because honestly, sometimes when I eat I get a little bit carried away and turn into the bad guy from the third season of Fargo).

I don’t eat cheese, so I went back to the counter to politely explain the mistake and asked if they could fix it. Instead, I was told that I had ordered cheese, which was not true. After going back and forth, they finally agreed to make the chicken pupusa—but then told me I would have to pay for a second one. That didn’t make sense since the mistake wasn’t mine. Because of how it was handled, I ended up leaving without ordering anything. The customer service during that moment was very disappointing and unhelpful. However, I do want to add that the owner reached out to me afterward, apologized, and made an effort to make things right. I appreciate that he took the time to respond and try to fix the situation, which does show they care about their customers. Overall, while my initial experience was negative, I do respect that the owner followed up and tried to resolve the issue.
