  I always come to Safeway for groceries, usually a few times a month on random days and at different times, so it’s uncomfortable noticing the same people constantly lingering around the Pokémon vending machine almost every visit. There’s especially one large guy I regularly see posted up there, and sometimes there are several people hanging around the machine from the start of my shopping trip all the way to the end. They always seem to watch anyone who walks near it, which creates a tense atmosphere that feels really out of place in a grocery store. I feel bad for parents and kids who just want to buy Pokémon boxes for fun but have to deal with groups hovering around the machine all day. Safeway should do a better job discouraging loitering near the vending machine so customers can shop comfortably.

  Three stars because they had cilantro in stock and the self-checkout was easy. However, I was actually there to order a custom cake for my husband's birthday. I needed one for 30-40 guests, so not a small cake. I went and waited at the bakery for a few minutes, but no one was behind the counter. I went to the customer service desk to ask if the bakery was open (this was 4:00 in the afternoon). They got on the loudspeaker to page the bakery to let them know that someone needed help. I went back and waited for several more minutes, but still no one showed up. I ended up calling the bakery of another local grocery store while I was waiting. They picked up immediately, and I ordered my cake from them instead. I'm sure the Safeway cakes are great, and it would have been nice to be able to order one.

  There chicken these days is the best, maybe they just employed a new cook and am sure it's not up to three months. The taste of the chicken is hmmmmm so sweet. I hope they retain the person, I also noticed that it's in the evening that they have the best chicken. Am giving 4 star because of the new fried and roasted chicken am experiencing in the evening these days.

  Good Safeway Location, not the regular one that we go to but my family still has been coming here at least once a month for more than 20 years, always clean and well stocked.

  Nice and convenient grocery store with a good selection of fresh produce and everyday essentials. The store is clean, aisles are easy to navigate, and checkout lines move pretty quickly. Staff is friendly and usually willing to help if you need something. Great spot for quick grocery runs or weekly shopping!
