I had a very disappointing experience at the Arby's inside the Pilot travel center. Sarah took my order, but after I placed it, I sat waiting for 25 minutes with no update. When I finally went to the counter to ask where my food was, I was told their system had gone down and that my receipt had been thrown away. Because of that, my order was never made.
What frustrated me the most wasn't just the delay it was the complete lack of communication and customer service. No one came to let me know there was a problem, and I didn't receive a sincere apology for wasting 25 minutes of my time. When I finally received my food, it was cold and disappointing.
Mistakes happen, and I understand that technology can fail. What matters is how a business responds when something goes wrong. A simple apology, keeping customers informed, or offering a small gesture such as a free drink, dessert, or discount would have shown that they valued my time and wanted to make things right.
Instead, I left feeling like just another number. Large corporations often talk about customer service, but experiences like this make it feel as though customer satisfaction comes second. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and empowers employees to communicate better and make things right when mistakes happen.

No one pays attention to customers standing in line.
No proper communication at all.
If the staff are tired, that’s understandable—but if they’re working and getting paid, the service should still be done properly.
I won’t be coming back to this place.

Ordered an Arby’s melt received it and the meat was so dried out you couldn’t even bite into it. When asked for a replacement or anything I was given dirty looks and told they no longer were selling roast beef. All the tables were dirty it was disgusting.
